Rosa’s Cantina was the inspiration for one of the most famous Western songs ever, El Paso, by Marty Robbins. It’s easy to see why when you pull up to the small, single roomed building. Across the road you see the badlands of New Mexico, and you can almost envision the tragic gunfight that Robbins sings about. When you get here though, you’ll find this is a neighborhood watering hole, that’s been an important part of its community for decades.
